Hold'em High poker is a hold’em poker version that does not involve other players. Although Texas hold’em poker has to have other players so players can wager, risk and bluff their hands, this poker variant is more of a video poker game with a Hold’em twist. This is because this game follows the rules and procedure of Hold’em poker but with no other players or a dealer to beat.
In this game, players will be able to play with as many as five poker hands. They can choose the number of hands by placing their chips on the hands they want to play with. They will choose any of the chip sizes available in order to place these bets. These chips can be found at the bottom left and they include 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50 credits per chip. After players set their stakes and choose the number of poker hands, they will be dealt two cards facing up on each activated poker hand while five cards facing down will be dealt on the table. Players will then be asked if they want to call, raise or fold each hand. After they decide that, the five cards on the table will be turned and players will be rewarded according to the best poker hand possible from the 7 cards (2 cards of each hand + 3 of the 5 cards on the ground).
Players well be paid according to the paytable and their wager. For example, players who get a straight flush will be rewarded 100:1, 3 of a kind pays 2:1 and two pair of Jacks or better pays 1:1 which is also the minimum hand that gets paid.
